@NeoN; I agree with you, although I must say I don't think you should even refer to such things as OCs. OC stands for Original Character. There's nothing original about that type of crap. LOL We should call them UCs (Unoriginal Characters) xD I bet those things don't even have a good thought out personality and background either, other than having the Mary Sue/Gary Stu syndrome. =w=

I've seen lots of fandoms die. This is nothing new, but Undertale is certainly something worth preserving as long as physically possible. All the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ OCs, Toriel fetish obsessions, stupid memes etc are accelerating the deterioration process. It's essentially a battle to preserve a slowly-rotting corpse, when you think about it.

Still, it shouldn't be about the fandom, but about the game itself. That's the real kicker though, because the fandom tries to shove their way into as much as they can, so it's virtually impossible to trip over something someone in the fanbase has done.

It's quite sad. It really is.

No fandom needs OCs or recolors really. I hope you're not assuming OCs and recolors in the MLP and Sonic fanbase are GOOD, because the fact of the matter is that they literally ruin everything by A. causing lots of confusion, B. promoting lazy craftsmanship and art theft, and C. contributing to the exponential growth of cancerous ♥♥♥♥ myself and others have to wade through on a frequent basis.
