Counterstrike GO,
Bordelands 2,
Portal 2.
Another multiplayer game which is fun with a few people is Age of Empires HD. It's not very expensive and it's super fun to play with a group of people so if you have access to this game it would be fun.

@Tubatasm I'd definitely be up for playing Portal 2 multiplayer! Never played multiplayer before but absolutely loved the singe player campaign. I've got exams coming up next week but after that, I'll have a lot more free time to play!

I am not one for playing co-op but I am (sometimes) up for chatting. And occasionally if my bandwidth allows I may stream.

I play Civilization when I get that focus feeling for it where u play a single game all day. Only to lose in the last turn of the game :(. If anybody has Civ 5 or beyond earth and u get that feeling where u need to play it msg me as I've never played online before on it.
