Hi PDubbs, although I haven't used the Seat recently myself, you prompted me to start driving with it again ! I used a tweaked setup from the Chevy and mucked around with some tyre pressures and spring stiffnesses, resulting in the following two configurations:
Monza Seat León setup {LINK REMOVED}
Macau Seat León setup {LINK REMOVED}

Remember that each setup is taylored for a specific track/car/driver/conditions combination, so you should watch out for that. For instance, don't be surprised if you churn out slower lap times if you're using the long-geared Macau setup on Puebla (although this should be obvious to you by now, with 190+ hrs on the clock).

If you're wondering how to make use of these files, simply drop them into your RACE directory:
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\"YourUserName"\race\UserData\"YourProfileName"\CarSetups
I have no idea if that'll work, as I've never tried importing setups. Let us know how you get along.

Anyone got a good Seat Leon setup? :)

Hi Weblife, what's up with you lately? All good here.
Weblife 11 Sep, 2010 @ 10:12am
hi guys how are you ?
iPdubb 11 Jun, 2010 @ 9:33am
Yes I see what you mean. Thank you anyway.
Phantom 11 Jun, 2010 @ 9:27am
It used to be that way, but many feel it is already a challenge driving in Pro, so when you add rain onto that, people get frustrated and abandon ship, especially keyboard players. Additionally, it creates chaos for unexperienced drivers of RWD cars.
Personally, I agree with you: not only is it more realistic, but it also adds new dimensions to the game and gives you good practice in dealing with wet cornering. It also makes the game look nicer with reflections on the wet tarmac.
Perhaps there should be a vote on this and see what the general consensus is, but there's a risk that RACE's already tiny online community will dwindle ever further as racers are put off by the extreme difficulty that rain introduces.
I'll alternate between the two at first and see how well it goes down.
iPdubb 10 Jun, 2010 @ 11:54am
More realistic too
iPdubb 10 Jun, 2010 @ 11:54am

To PDubbs7: The Steam rating is just the average steam rating of all the players in the group, i.e. it represents the overall level of online activity of the group as a whole. The higher the rating, the more hours people are putting in, which generally leads to better racing: the more the merrier ;)
The player of the week thing is just a commendation (decided by the officers) given to a racer which has played in an exemplary manner during the week. If you play fair and/or win races, you stand a chance of getting this much praised award.

To Weblife: Making a good setup is about racing with a car you are used to and changing parameters one at a time and seeing if it makes any difference. If you can't be bothered, you could always ask someone nicely if they could give you theirs. However, don't expect to suddenly become a driving god simply because you have a good setup; the rest is down to you obviously. I've noticed you have been using the BMW recently: you could ask The Stig for that.
Weblife 6 Jun, 2010 @ 10:10am
can someone explain how to make good setup ?

It works great.
iPdubb 14 May, 2010 @ 5:34pm
For the Crowne Plaza you have to have the Race 07 demo first.
Just to make it clear.

PDubbs, go to your router web-utility (by typing the router's IP address into Firefox, usually 192.168.1.1) and find the section on port forwarding or gaming/applications. Enter the range of ports as shown above and enter your computer's IP address. You can discover what your computer's IP is by typing cmd.exe into Run. From there, enter ipconfig and you're looking for your IPv4 address: it might change frequently after restarts if you're using wireless, but in that case, I don;t recommend you host, as people will complain of lag. Hope this helps.
