Thanks for sharing Mik! It's really nice seeing the fun you guys had on the server! I wish I was more involved on track with everyone instead of working on the mod all the time. There were some awesome features in development at the time too, sadly, before it was shut down.

I'd just finished loitering detection, comprised with server-side track map so I could see the location of all players and their current speeds, too (calculated from the Distance Travelled variable vs timestamp of the server report); including known wrecker hot-spots.

But at least, a lot was still achieved with that project and how much daily usage it had from people who kept coming back, gave me motivation to keep developing it! :D

It was just a shame; a few spoiled it for the many - which usually is the case in this world. :*(

...I say "servers" but at the moment it's just WTCC until I can free up some time, and hardware to overhaul the server again. That's the downside of taking-on too much to do, at once! lol :/

Good question! Unfortunately I have no ETA at this time, nor can I guarantee it will be returning as an F3000 server when a second server is back, due to the very low popularity it had. So, it may, possibly, return as a FRR server, but I don't want to make any promises...

The second server has been offline since an overhaul of the server machine was done a few weeks ago due to performance issues, causing lag. Where it's still not been quite right, I've devoted all the resources just to one server for the time being.

When I get a bit more time on my hands (hoping within another week or two), it will be the first thing I look at again - and if all goes well, the second server will be back!

When can we expect the F3000 server to be back? Also,any hope for a Formula RaceRoom server to be added?

I've got a touch of the old influenza at the moment so apologies I've not kept a proper eye on it for a few days... However, I checked-in on it, probably not long after the time-stamp of when you posted on here (I'm guessing, roughly) and saw it was doing some funky stuff causing the problems described.

I should restart the server-mod more often really :/ I've seen this problem with it before where it does a bizarre thing that usally occurs after the server has been up consistently, for about a week, and it seems to defy logical sense! lol

Anyways, I restarted the mod, so it should be good to go again - fingers crossed!
Soz for the inconvenience chaps - I'll try to keep a closer eye on it, as I was, before being struck with my man-flu and feeling sorry for myself!

I was looking for a place to report server issues. Couldn't find one, so commenting here. The Race O7 server is having problems. In addition to point system not working at all, the server commands are not working - including admin commands.

P.s btw don't go getting yourself into trouble Hans lol ...I used to be on FB but don't have time for it really, given the flaws and invasive nature it can also bring with it. My wifey is friends with all mine anyway, she's on it everyday and shows me anything interesting :P

...but I've added some things that might help me diagnose it better, if it happens again. Right now though, believe it or not, theres little support for maintaining the championship e.g changing points on drivers manually. I only focused on what it needed to do for it to function properly at the time, because I saw no need to want to change things, as it's designed to work autonomously. I'm not too far away from getting this last part done, so I can roll back the result from the last race and get this puppy going again!

Yes as Super said if you're one of the names below then you received a ban. That was for being a serious hazard to others on the track. You were warned several times before.

HI Matte, sorry to hear this. Is your race name (CFR)UP and also inferno sthlm? I'll need RR11 to comment as to what lead to your kick/ban earlier before I'll undo this. ( I don't want to undermine the admins decisions without a good reason, unfortunately mate :/ )

The mod is programmed to auto-ban players once 3 kicks have been accumulated on separate occasions, so this is why a ban came into effect.

Anyone else having trouble loading the multiplayer lobby? Server list shows up as empty and won't refresh.

It's all good obs, seriously don't worry about it mate. I'm sure this guy was looking for a fight to begin with. If it wasn't you, it would be someone else he would've picked on. He's even claiming to be someone else now, despite I have proof of his original account details.

I'm pretty sure he's not working alone in his mission to ruin pbfanatic and all evidence of this has been given to my local police force here. If I was you, I'd also contact your local police to report/sue him for "defamation of character" and persue damages plus all legal costs!

As a starting point you'll need to report him to valve for the nature of his posts, to get a valid ticket number, as the authorities will need this if you wish to persue it further. It's what I was advised to do. At the very least, it's worth requesting that all posts made by him on various peoples profiles and other groups, are removed. Hope this helps.

#2 And first of all, a normal and adequate person would try to talk, find out the reason for the ban and try to solve it. But, no, you have to write bad words right away - it shows what kind of outsiders you are. So, if you were adequate, you would not be kicked.

01.07.2017 in Qualify Valencia Nacional, He behaved inadequately and wrecked. Prevented me from leaving the pitline. Then in the race just took me off the track, I asked why he did it and warned him dont do it again. Next event, Brno he also try to took me off in Qval, Im warned him repeatedly, in race, In the third turn he wrecked me. I kicked him. (I have evidence)
After that he write me a message with Caps-Lock bad words about me in steam. Before I had time to react, he had already deleted from friends.
