The Endeavor is made up of six foot thick of solid Oak and with some iron renforcment, Her masts are all solid oak and also reforced, and if you can get through all that then you have to deal with the 122 18 pounders that are housed on her 4 decks, no ship could penitrate her armor unless there was already a hole in it.
After Captain Timm arouse from his hamock on the 14th. of July he already new that somthing was not right besides the heavy tipping of the ship, he scrambbled ubove decks to find himself in one of the worst storms that he had ever encountered, but that waas not it. He thought to himself "There seems to be a fresh smell of gunpowder in the air and this..." but as hhe wwas thinking a shell came accros the stern of the ship nearly killing him. As he arous alll that was heard was a shear yell of Orders that everyone knew quite well, "BEAT TO QUARTERS!!!!!!!" and then suddenly the ship sprung up with activity and within 15 minuets the guns were ready.

H.M.S. Endeavor part 2
on her maiden voyage she was a fast but strong warship that would prove the Royal Navay was without a doubt the best in the world. Travaling from her dock in Liverpool she was given the task to join up with the main fleet outside of Trafalger with a few supply ships and other small warships. Unknown to her the French new of the launch of the massive ship and were out destroy her with all possible force, with the idea of her gone made the sea seem a little easier to control. Life onboard a heavy first rate was a harsh one but a nessicary evil for all those onboard, even the captain shared his rations with the men and had no special treatment unless a battle occured.
Traveling down the coast of Potrugal the French finally had the nerve to attack the convoy with a force of 2 80 gunners and 6 74 gunners thinking that will be more then enouph...they are greatly mistaken.

This is a pretty cool group my YouTube channel is dedicated to history around the Napoleonic War. I keep alot of historical documentaries, fictional movies, patriotic music, and gameplay for mount and musket/Napoleon Total War. I have finished working on French history and am now doing British history. I am trying to collect as much history as possible and I save down the playlists so when I have history on every nation Ill be able to bring it out swiftly to represent that country :D. Feel free to check out my YouTube channel.

If you have an article/story regarding land warfare and /or army personalities, submit it. We like to read it all, so the rules are pretty loose. I would restrict it to the era encompassed by the Napoleonic wars however. =)
