MIMALAND in the short term of ‘Miniature in Malaysia Land’ was a fast-growing yet the first ever theme park to exist in Malaysia owned by Mimaland Berhad. Located beside Jalan Gombak and next to Lebuhraya Karak-KL. With about 300 acres of the land, the park started their operations in the early 70’s. The park soon became famous in the blink of an eye for its’ attractions including, the pre-historic park and the tallest waterslide in Malaysia by that time. However, major incidents occured wich robbed someones life and dangerous landslides that led the park to cease their operations in the mid 90’s. Till this day, the park is resting deserted, untouched. Even for more than 20 years of its closure, the greenish moldish park is still drawing attention for mostly to thrill-seekers and fans.
