mouse ISSUE
ISSUE
When using Steam Remote Play Together, the mouse cursor does not move even after assigning the mouse and keyboard.

Windows 10 & Windows 11

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Launch Steam Remote Play Together.

Assign the mouse and keyboard to a friend.

The keyboard works normally.

The mouse can click, but the cursor does not move.

EXPECTED RESULT
Each player should be able to control a different character and play the game together.

ACTUAL RESULT
The mouse cursor does not move, even though mouse clicks are recognized.

Each player controls a different character to play the game together. Can you help us, please? Thank you in advance for your attention.

windows likes to combine all keyboards and mice

on host, make sure steam is set to run as administrator, so it can pass k/m controls

remote play together works best when both have controllers, so inputs are not shared

I’ll try running Steam as an administrator. Thanks.
I’m using a controller and my friend is using shared mouse/keyboard, and it used to work fine before. Since it suddenly stopped working, running Steam as admin seems like the most likely solution.
