Raffles are similar to lotteries, you must pay the entry fee which is probably going to be 1/10 of the original price of the item. However you are going to be competing against numerous members of the group or the members of the raffle.
How to win? Well, members in the raffle will be drawn at random, the holder or holders of such tickets (in this case slots) will get the prize.
