Hey guys, sorry for the long break. I recently got Mass Effect 2 and I've been AWOL for the past several weeks. I'm back in business though, and the mod/group is still running. :)

I'm looking to take the mod a slightly new direction too, so please refer to the updated Relicnews thread for information on the goals of this mod. Hopefully this will make the purpose of this playtest much more defined and much less chaotic.

Oh, btw, Kolaris, do you think you could help me with something? I'm having some trouble wrapping my mind around "pie" AoE and how it works in-game. Can you check out my thread in RN and see if I'm on the right track?

I had been going off of the patch notes, which said "Assault Terminators HP increased from 1500 to 1800."

I definitely see what you're saying though, because it seems confusing both ways. It was either a mix-up with the patch notes, or some Relic guy being lazy and adding a modifier instead of changing the leveling stats.

In terms of fluff, the Storm Shield is supposed to grant greater protection, so I guess we ought to go with what you're suggesting and fix the lack of a removing modifier rather than fixing the base HP.

Uh, I'm pretty sure the bug is that the +300 Health is not properly being removed when equipped with Lightning Claws. If not, why wouldn't they just increase the base Health of the Assault Terminators?

The fact that its attached to the TH+SS wargear is pretty telling that its only supposed to be affecting them when they have their shields.

Bolters shouldn't be bugged (I didn't touch them at all, and no files altering them are included in the mod), but Assault Terminators are. In vanilla, there's a bug where the +300 HP that ATs were supposed to recieve is tied to their Storm Shield rather than their base health. Consequently, if you upgrade your Terminators to LCs and then reinforce them, the new member will not have the +300 HP.

When making the mod, I fixed the bug, but forgot to take away the HP buff granted by the Storm Shield. Now Assault Terminators have 2100 HP. Oops.

I get the weird feeling the bolters are bugged - like having twice the range. Could be only graphics thing though.
