We have already had a successful 12 player match going, lets hit it up again!
Step 1 - Invite a whole bunch of them AvP Australia members to group chat.
Step 2 - Tell them to all do a rankings quick search either solo or in small groups of 2-3. Do not make a single large group unless you can also organize an opposing group of equal size in the group chat. Regardless, you'll all probably get into the same game, just versing each other.
It seems ranking mode generates game types based on whether you have pre-made teams joining or a whole bunch of solos, etc. However, it doesn't try to make even teams, so a large premade team can often verse a small one. That's why it's important to agree to team sizes before hand if possible.
