looking to start a team, anyone know or is a good australian player who plays 1-4 roles (im the 5th role, this is a system to jusge the level of farm each player needs). 1 role- the carry, you will be in the safe lane farming for a good ammount of the game, 2 role- you will be usally mid, 3 role- you are the solo offlane player (map awareness is key) 4 role- you will be the jungling support, build items like meka, pipe, forcestaffs.

EOI: Who would be interested in managing this group/clan? Circumstances have changed and myself and my brother no longer have the required time to put in.

I was playing dota on WIII since 1.27 and have been playing as a hobbiest ever since and I haven't had any tournament experience. Hence the new group, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that I don't have the required credentials to judge a decent player and who I would like in my team.I have the connection with another clan and am asking anyone who thinks they have whats required to play a friendly tourney with another clan to try out. If your not interested i'm not forcing anyone to play but am interested eventually in making a professional 5 man tournament team and if at a laterstage it is decided I am not good enough to compete at a higher level I will let someone else replace me.In this game skill plays a part but experience is invaluable and I believe after playing for so many years I am ready.

It won't be based on k/d ratio.

A vote hardly sounds fair. These things are extremely subjective. This is why even experts cannot agree on things in their particular fields.

For future reference, maybe I enter with my own select team of 5?, and perhaps just make it the winning teams advance.

How are you going to calculate "Top 5 Players?". The supports are obivously going to have a worse K/D.

Our target member base is at least 40 active members. Our goal is to hold an eight team in house tournament where the top 5 players from each game will advance to the next round. At the end of the mini tournament we will have our top five dota players Australia has to offer ready for international competition and even prize money!
