Would anyone know how to edit the files giving bots weapons to allow sniper bots to have bows in medieval mode?

The mod works for me okay, for the most part. But I have just one pretty big problem I want to point out. For some reason, koth_moonshine_even doesn't work anymore! It's one of my favorite Halloween maps, but after installing this mod it doesn't work. The map launches just fine, but the bots refuse to move out of spawn, even after the nav_generate console command! This doesn't make any sense because before getting the mod, the natively spawned bots worked perfectly on that map. So, why TF does a "BOT OVERHAUL" mod break it?!

It still doesn´t work for me on win11, even do everything has been done as guided so can i still not get the single player shortcut to work. The 64-bit update must really have messed things up for it to be this problematic

I figured out a fix for the Bot Overhaul issue with the 64-Bit Update. First, set the tf.exe as the target for the single player shortcut. 2nd, install an older version of SourceMod. I'm using build 6960.

Whenever I try to open the singleplayer app it says "hl2.exe could not be found". I think this is because of the 64 bit update, please fix!!!!

The 64 bit update broke it, so bots can't have hats or varied weapons, please help

Hey um how do ya enable the bots chat? I forgor since last time i played this mod was 2 years ago.

btw i meant to add in there that im not to sure what he meant by target directory

so i should use the regular valve shortcut or the single player shortcut? bc i went back and read what showin had put in the readme txt. file in the part 2 section about the target directory. Would that possibly help or would the launch option "-insecure" help?

Looks like the mod was installed correctly. try to play with the normal TF2 bots and see what happens. TF2 is already a CPU intensive game and adding bots (especially the bot overhaul) is a lot of stress on the CPU.

Ok so i've watched the video tutorial many of times and followed each step exactly right. everything works properly, except its just always laggy as ♥♥♥♥ for me. the missions run pretty smooth, but actual matches are borderline unplayable. i even took the liberty of removing the weapons, cosmetics, and extra generated names. no improvement what so ever. i've done this on multiple PCs with the exact same outcome. BTW i didn't have and options for my shortcuts to be 32 bit or 64 bit, since i assume that's what you meant by "choose the version that's compatible with your version of windows". if i did something wrong, plz tell me bc i'm stupid. thanks.

I just wanted to say, thank you so much showin. Damn shame there's so much hard coding that limits what could be done with these, no telling what could be modded if there wasn't (I think?) Before I had decent internet I couldn't play online games and this helped me play tf2 when my net was ♥♥♥♥, and while I mostly play multiplayer now I will always keep up with this for when the day tf2 eventually looses a lot of players it can still live on. Thanks a bunch man!

I moved tf2 (and all of steam in general including games) to an external hard drive to make space, but now my single player shortcut is broken. Multiplayer shortcut works fine, the mod is still there so i can play with normal bots on any map, but they wont work on mvm like they used to and they dont have loadouts. I dunno how to fix this.

This mod is so well made and developed, to this day I'm using it on my self hosted servers but it's pretty sad how the bots keep glitching out after recent updates.

I really hope Showin can fix them in a not so far future...

i have a problem ): the bots dont use custom loadouts

when i type nav_generate in the conseol it loads a bit then crashes

wheres is singleplayer file and the tf2 shortcuts dont work

I just uninstalled the old version and installed the newer version and i'm getting an issue where when i load into a match the bots don't spawn with cosmetics neither do they spawn with various weapons. Any solutions for this?

@Pun-slinger They don't know how to use it properly. It's possible that future updates might do some things to make them more viable with it.
