JC4MP is coming baby

[Xs]BlackenThorns, it's not released and won't ever be released because the developers of JC3MP stopped developing the mod and I don't want to develop for a platform like that. I never got the promised "1.1 update" which included critical features needed for the gamemode. So there's no point in trying to develop this gamemode when I'll never have the features I need to make it good and the developers of JC3MP actively tried to kill JC3MP by shutting down the masterlist images (they would've shut down the masterlist itself if they could).

The gamemode is completely open source now and you can find it on GitHub if you want.

guys, why is this still not released?

JC3MP is still being developed, though. Hopefully 1.1 will drop soon. It'll be a while before any sort of multiplayer for JC4 comes out, if ever, so we'll keep developing Survival Island until that happens.

Shame JC4 is being released and jc3 mp hasnt even been developed fully.

Awesome news! Apologies, didn't know where to look for the updates. Do you guys have your own site, and if so, could you link it? (Maybe alsof mention it in the description?)

CoMaestro, there actually are some updates that we haven't posted about here. We've stopped waiting for 1.1 to go into open beta and have finished the loot system and have begun placing lootboxes all over. Once the first version of storages is finished, we will go into open beta.

I'm hoping for the end of this month if everything goes well.

The server will go into public beta shortly after the 1.1 update to jc3mp is deployed. We'll post announcements when that happens.

There's a lot possible in JC3MP right now, Spideric. Most DLC does work, however we will not be using it. Once we are able to spawn objects, you can expect an open beta testing phase to begin soon.
