D'Neo here. Just added realMYST to my Steam Library as part of the Cyan Collection. Much improved graphics and I like the new Roam mode for free look. I've played every one of the MYST series. Warm greetings to other afficionados. Also an Atrus fan. Even after all these years since original MYST PC CD-ROM, still struggle with the puzzles and switches. Admit to sometimes referring to a Walkthrough. Though challenging MYST is fun to explore.

i start the game, open the linking book, white panel where the picture should be. any solution? Windows 7 home premium, nvidea GEFORCE GTX 260M. resolution proplem?

I have Vista 64 was haveing a hard time getting Real myst to work. I had to go into properties and compatibility set it to 2000, Aministrative use, Disable themes. I decided that at $6 it was just easier to download it threw Stream and not have to worry about Compadibility issues. Sorry my spelling sucks

I had the choppy and crashing problems on windows 7, but found the answers in steam's realMYST forums. You need to find the realmyst .exe file (in \ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\real myst\RealMYST.exe) - right click it and goto properties-->compatibilty. set it to run in compatibilty mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2. then set it to Run as Administrator. THEN, open realmyst from the steam button in your taskbar, goto RealMYST Setup, and select an option [Drect3d HAL] MAKE SURE NOT to choose an option that includes "T&L" . all should be fixed. :)

why can't recent computer run realmyst?? i tryed it with 3diiferent and they freezed with the game

Echoing @maxmatt... How can I bring up the settings panel from the first launch again? I cautiously set the resolution low, but now I want to stop squinting! If Google knows the answer, it's keeping it a secret.
