But as far as i'm concerned you are loosing one asset by moving to Unity3D : Your project was the best good looking source engine game ever seen. I mean like u said Raindrop is unique but in my opinion it was mainly because he pushed the limits of the Source engine like never seen before.
I didn't know than Source engine was expansive, when i see some indie games like Blade Symphony, Insurgency 2, Dear Esther,..powered only by their own community (kickstarter/Indie fund)
