I want rats maps to be a thing again, I'm a 3d modeller so if any of the map creators need some unique models i'm ready to help.

The maps have some bugs that mess the server sometimes. Also the ip isnt permanent. For the permanent address to add to favorites use this

I don't think there is one. Tomo made maps himself in source and he made the maps we use in CS:GO

:) tomo has tested the newest version of de_toms_shack in cs:go and was able to get it working. It just needs some new textures. I also believe he is making an entirely new rats map for cs:go :D

Its nice to see rats maps are being put back into their rightful position. I can remember all the fun times. I've since lost all my maps but i'm looking to start up in the rats community again. if you all get this up i will sure be a regular. =]

Depends if the maps can be brought over to CS:GO. If they can then we will probably try it. A new game might bring it back. There will most likely never be another server for source though.

With the annoucement of Global Offensive will we see a revival of rats maps? I miss it with my entire heart.

I will be hosting another Ol' CS:S rats server within the next month. Stay tuned for details.

Im almost a 100% positive if a PC game worth playing comes out, and Ol' is playing that game...There will be pro rats maps being made.

I hope someday to see all my favorite rats maps in another game. Hopefully, it's really popular and I can waste another few years getting stabbed by Ol' Wolf.

nah its done for. We had it going for a little while. Then a few of us bought minecraft. Game over. Minecraft is the most addicting game in the world. Now a few of us play that daily. the rest play tf2 mostly. It probably won't ever be revived again. We will just get someone to host a few rats maps when we feel like it again. With Duke Nukem coming out....I bet we will see some rats maps in that multiplayer

yeah css updated and sodium is running the server, but school is having its way with him. He hasn't been on in a few days and he's the only one with the rcon pass. Server is dead until he gets on :(

So I tried to connect to the current server and I got an error message saying that the server is running an older version of the game.

This made me sad.

BUELER. we just got the server up last night broski. don't think there is a single rats map on it yet. I'd wait till the weekend. We're gonna try and get some maps in then.

Never mind It's already up and running. Gun game is working properly, Admin working like a charm. Just hunting down all the rats maps now and adding them.

I don't know if any of you even care about rats maps anymore, or look here. But a chunk of the old regs have messaged me a bit lately, saying how much they miss rats maps. So we got to talking about it again, looked into it.
We figure it will take a very long time to gain some ground again so a small server would be fit. We are looking at a 10 man server right now at the cost of $13 a month. If anyone sees this, Please respond and let me know if you would still play on a CSS rats map server. It will probably be gungame since thats what everyone loves.

There are new forums up at www.olgroup.proboards.com . We axed the idea of a new rats server currently because we've entered the ETF2L highlander tournament in TF2. But we still a bunch of the regs and play some rats maps from time to time
