I don't know if there are any others.
1. The decline of natural polygons since the time of the first containment of the Virus makes it highly unlikely that such large continents would have any significant amounts of them to make mining cost efficient.
2. The lore of Darwinia doesn't tell what happened to the Bugs after the second Darwinian generation broke free from the Cave and killed the ones that were present at that location, but because they were not found from the islands and it's rather unlikely that all the Bugs would have been around the Cave and even more unlikely that the Darwinians would've survived them all as there were just a couple thousand of them at that time while the Bugs on the other hand "had inhabited the entire system", so could consider them being around or over that 8500. So in conclusion, where did the Bugs go? The continents would be my guess.
