One team tried to bring a person to a 'goal' and another team tried to defend?
The problem with is that one team could just spam for 20 minutes and nothing would happen. The classes aren't important yet, the idea and map needs a lot of refining.
name: escort the bomb (need better name)
objective: when ur dirrectly on a person who will play as the bomb he will move the other side has to stop if the other side gets on top of bomb the bomb (person) will rapidly tap "a" once the bomb gets to the other sides hole the game ends and 20 mins have pasted and the bomb hasnt reached the other side wins

there are 4 teams in opposite corners, in each base there is 3 switches ( one for each of the other teams) , 3 gates (which to open you need to have flicked all the switches in the other teams' bases) , a lever behind all the gates and a bed with an active stone block beneath it ( the lever behind all the gates will deativate the blocks beneath the other 3 teams bed). The map is all underground (made of candy cane) with tunnels through it. There are also 6 rooms which have a obstacle course in them, in the middle of these rooms there will be buffs such as heart crystals and mana stars or mabye buff potions. It will be a 5v5v5v5
My problem is that i don't know what kind of classes i should use here are the things that CAN'T be included in the classes:
1. Grapple hook of any kind
2. Cloud in a bottle or shiny red balloon
3.Invis or grav potion
4. No engineer
The race genre isn't very new but it's a fun one. The real problem is that you've got a lot to compete with, so what you have to do to be noticed is to make a better one then anyone else, and when it comes to racing it's all about looks and design.
If something really looks like it was built in TEdit, sloppy or rushed it's kinda boring. You also don't want generic digging the whole game, make a pair of custom caves that connect to one another and maybe some underground houses with working stations?
Basically, your idea is great, but it's not new, so you need to up the anty and beat all the old ones by doing something way better or innovative.
Sorry for sounding a bit harsh but the classes do not seem balanced in theory, I'd need more information to falsify my belief in that.
Regarding the foundational idea;
I like CW clones and especially with explosives, but it all comes down to how the map looks and feels when playing it, so it could either be a super amazing map which makes the gamemode AMAZING or it can feel rushed and un-creative. As mentioned, i need more to say if it's good or bad.
And then for the coming rounds, you assume that everyone of each team will survive and continue, this isn't the real case of pvp. If a 4v4 team battles, there might just be 1 or 2 players standing in the end, making hardcore impossible.
My tip would be to switch to softcore and add locked spawnpoints so that you don't die for good, but you're locked out of the arena.
A tip; play the map in your mind.
It's kind of like elimination but different xD. Its called grapple wars. There are 4 teams of 4 and 3 arenas. The first round of battling will be with 2 people from each color team so......4 matches at once.When you are done, you go to next arena and rejoin with your full team so you could have 4,3,2, or 1 players for round 2. Again they battle, and if my mind doesnt decive me, there will be 2 rounds. After that, the winners face each other in the final arena. The team that survives is VICTORIUS. Each player has to be hardcore and will recieve a cloud in a balloon, a lucky horse shoe and a dual hook. All arenas will use the dual hook. The first arena is just random shapes of cobalt brick and the sides are spikes. The bottom is lava and besides that, they have to kill their enimies. The second arena is an bostacle course then a pvp area. And im not sure what the last one will be so im up for ideas.Any ideas on it
So there are 4 teams each in opposite corners of the map green top left yellow top right blue bottom left red bottom right. In the green base there will be a switch which opens a door to a warp in the red base( the opposite base) and the same for all the other bases. This warp will take you to a seperate base with a mechanic in the middle. The Red base will have to go to the blue base and hit a lever which will allow them access to the middle where the mechanic is. The team must buy a lever off the mechanic and place it on the lever stand in their base which will break all of the other teams beds and take it in to a deathmatch. But how do they get the coins you ask, well across the map there will be chests with money in and a piggy bank in the team base for safe keeping.
All comments will be appreciated and btw ZaQen how do you make warp points.
P.S there will probably be classes
And when it comes to gathering materials, wouldn't just rushing to hell mean that you'd win? Stopping for minerals would just make you lose, right?
Either make it so that you HAVE to get materials to get forward of people will just rush through it =P
Second off, I'm working on a map of my own for a gamemode I tried earlier and then abandoned called Race to Hell, Summon the Wall, etc. Two teams have a prep period in which to gather materials, and then they return and dig to hell in a specially made mineshaft that allows for PvP. Once in hell, they must summon the Wall of Flesh, the team that does that wins. Special credit given to teams that succeed in defeating the Wall!

Not to tell too much but both PSIsyndicate and Odyssey games are interested in Kingdom Siege and have expressed their wish to host/play and make videos of it.
Right now there are no plans of giving the hosting privs to anyone else the WHAT-pvp but it might come in the future if they end up just going for their own maps.
The decision isn't final but I'm not gonna do anything rash right now. The mode is still new and fresh.
