Hi, what is the best linux to playing?
☣ Pistolpete ☣ 13 Apr, 2014 @ 6:48pm
HI, i'm new to linux (since jan 2014) i'm using Linux mint lmde cinammon and it's work very well...I've play RUST for more than 200 hours. I've also try left 4 dead 2, painkiller hd, team fortress 2 and also my old half-life 2 game with hl2:deathmatch & counter-strike source...
So i'm building my linux library...and i don't want to go back to a buggy OS with annoying update. Look like my computer is 5 years younger now, fast booting time, quick shutdown,
low mem usage fast responding. Thank you so much.

Hi everyone. [N] LowEndGeek I would choose FTL.
AlwaysHollow 16 Mar, 2014 @ 4:06pm
Hey all, looking for a suggestion, FTL or Surgeon Simulator. Which one should I get?
StezzPlayz 27 Jan, 2014 @ 4:39am
i have an ATI Radeon HD 4650 and i have no problems adam so it must just be your computer my linux is Ubuntu 13.10 (recommend you use it) so it could be the linux OS you have installed i can run games that need good graphics on Ubuntu for almost next to nothin on my PC (so get Ubuntu 13.10 or Ubuntu 12.04 FTL its the best for linux gaming make sure its a 64bit version)
The Silent Observer 5 Jan, 2014 @ 2:06am
Adam, try installing the proprietary ATI drivers. The open source ones aren't that great sometimes and that may be why you're having problems with that game.

Hi there. I just bought Football Manager 2014. The game is awesome as always (but this time it's also awesome for linux users :) ), however I have an issue with its performance. It's poor if it comes to present a 3d matches, but also the GUI is rendered with lags. I am using 64 bit arch linux and using ati open drivers. There's no such problem when playing other games like left 4 dead etc. Is it a problem with FM itself or my configuration?
StezzPlayz 28 Dec, 2013 @ 6:26pm
I running my new Ubunta 12.04 FTL 64bit system and it is much better then windows i wish there where more games on it though apart from that its AWESOME

In order to to update the graphics drivers on linux go to system settings or search for "additional drivers" once there it will give you a list of compatable drivers for your graphics card. Choose the one that says version current and select activate, enter your password and it will download the correct drivers for your video card. Note: don't activate the experimental drivers unless you know what you're doing, sometimes they can be buggy and not work right and cause your screen to go blank. Best of luck and game on!

Either your video card is unsupported, or your OpenGL driver needs to be updated" Pleaseee!
