I just thought I'd mention this here, but there's a mod on Nexusmods for the base FF XIII game that substitutes the higher quality models (the ones used in some of the cut scenes) for the normal in-game ones called "Model Swap". These models have higher polygon counts and higher resolution textures and some look quite a bit better. Lightning, Vanille and Sazh seem to have the most improvement. You may not want to use Snow, as the HQ model doesn't support emblems, so his coat is blank. If you use the base mod, this doesn't affect the game in any other way, just visuals.
