It's sad that this group lost its old spirit. I had alot of fun with you guys in our "Flash Playtogethers". I even tried making a map for the server but never finished it...
Nevertheless i only have great memories! :)

Yeah, it's pretty clear FNBN died a while back. Back then (~2 years ago) I tried to push some givvaways and stuff to counter it, but alas. This group was founded by and for new f2p players, and there aren't that many of those left, which no doubt contributed to FNBN's demise. I come back here every now and then to take a walk down memory lane, but I feel there is no need to push a revival of the group. It was some real good times, lasted a bit and died peacefully. C'est la vie.

Is the group dead and the server no longer up? Looks like the off-Steam forums are gone, too.

I haven't played TF2 in awhile, and FNBN was the group that made playing with real people fun. Now that I'm back, every random public match I'm in, somebody has to be a d*ck. Every. Single. Time. And they're not even ragging on me... they're ragging on some kid who not only can't play very well, but doesn't always take it seriously. Kids need mentors, not jerks telling them they suck, and it really drives me nuts having to listen to them.

Is it a matter of cost in running a server? I could help with that. I'd like to see this community revived.

Because it's not finished yet. Very few people have acess to the admin powers and only the base source plugins are installed. Feel free to have the game in there for now, but after that it goes back under the password again, since I'd have to be online in case any trouble makers stop in.

May I ask why the Server has a lock?

Im having trouble finding a reliable wifi spot here, so I might be offline for a while.

hey yall long time no see most of the new folks here. yall might not know me but i was here when this group started, im glad to see that is has grown so much. around when Kangster45 was the leader. bu there are A LOT more people now then there was. glad to see alot of our older palyers are still kicking lol. love what that new guys have been doing with the group :) i hope it's stays good :) who all remembers me from like forever ago? who remember kangster? or any of the older staff? well i hope yall have a good one, and when i get internet again i will try and help out and donate some of my guns. just need to get around and organize them and see what i dont need. well i gotta run, need to get my stuff ready for summer. play hard and pardy harder :P peaceeeeeeeeeee

Pretty much, ask the head honcho for approval before you go about doing your own thing, whether officially or unofficially associated.

@Dr_FancyPants1: I personally don't think we should be trying to make separate groups of FNBN. It has been tried in the past, with some unfortunate consequences. If you REALLY want to make an UNOFFICIAL group for FNBN, I recommend you ask Infinite first.

Gaming celibacy for around a month, currently have a few days of school left and a crapload of exams, and I'll also be visiting my home country (Bosnia) over the summer, so I don't think I'll have a computer over there that can run TF2. However, I will attempt to install Steam so that I can keep in contact with you guys and help in any way I can!

I've been playing TF2 for a while and have quite a few unlocks and all that fun stuff, and while I CAN get lucky, most of the time I'm pretty noobish in terms of, well, everything. You guys seem pretty cool, so I joined.
