Wow been a while since Ive been here...the mod shouldnt be crashing...it never crashed for me and I play it all the time.

SGT I think because of the new patch to L4D that the mod will start a crashing scenario to the desktop. If the makers of this mod could update it, that would be lovely. I miss being scared to hell with this mod. =P

I have a problem with the mod, it seems to work fine on my computer but everybody else who joins does not have the lighting darker, just the normal bright lighting. Do they need it installed in order for it to work?

I dont know then, plenty of people play it without any problems...not sure why you all cant...Id suggest asking in the l4dmaps area for the mutation or asking in the steamcommunity, maybe someone has an answer.

My mutation only adds a menu mode and changes a few atmospheric cvars...it shouldnt crash the game unless theres something conflicting with it.

lol my friends dont have addons and they crash too

Make sure you disable any addons that changes gameplay mechanics, Ive also heard the bot fixes for some odd reason will make the game crash if that and this is active at the same time...have absolutely no idea why...
