Hi! got a question. i always see so many people in groups online, how come when i enter dead island lobby there are always only 1 or 2 people in lobby that i can join? And the bloodbath arena is always empty??? is there any problem with the lobby or anything? wish to get some help. Thanks :)

@FeederBoy : Not as active as i would like. but you'll find a few game lobbies here and there, probably not exactly at the chapter that you stopped so campaign progress will be slower but xp will still be earned.

However, there are many members (in the comments section) in the group playing it so adding them should somewhat cancel your multiplayer doubts.

Also, i would advice you to listen to blammer. The game just went on massive sale during the holidays and i've seen it go as low as 15USD at GMG. But if you can't wait, then there's no stopping you.

Tau Suan: Yeah been playing dark souls since the 4th, not bad I must say, it's really harder than demon's souls, although many ppl are complaining about the online component though.. Supposed to be some "global" connection but the game is using some p2p thingy by putting players in a lobby system. Not too sure I just read some posts on the forums

sgAsuryan: I've just checked out dark souls! Oh my! I love their concept! Then I looked into Demon Souls, really cool! I think you're gonna play that game like for a looong time seeing how difficult it can get. But so sad, I wont be able to try it because I dont own a PS3 or XBOX360. :(

who else ish broke like me due to reparing of weapons!? my cash never hit 20K ever scin i use Blue katana mod-ed....

The problem for me was that every time I'm in a so-op game, the game crashes to desktop after about 4-5 seconds after loading.

Uriel : Hey, nope, i don't seem to be facing any problem with co-op. We created the hamachi group because the first release of Dead Island had a lot of bugs with matchmaking. So we thought it'd be easier to play that way. But now that their matchmaking is up and running, we won't be using that group. But feel free to use it should you find anyone!

Do you want to give us more details about co-op bug you are facing so that the others and i can try and help you out? Are you able to load your character without it crashing to the desktop [before even joining game lobby]? If that's the case, then the problem you are facing is a corrupt save.

Heartfelt: Yea, the developers were pretty evil to put suiciders along corners of the sewers. It happened to me too. When I know about it, its too late to run. But oh well, laughter brings joy to the game! :)

Magical Stick : Holy hell, my lvl 40 purna has the same bug. Another pub i know has the same problem too. :S
Stuck with a lvl 30 purna now with no awesome weps. Grr.

I'm starting to hate sewers. There were times when i opened some doors/gates in the sewers, there were exploding zombies located near it. Due to the fact that some parts sewer areas are narrow and dark (or maybe it's just my vision problem), when i finally noticed that zombie near me, i had nowhere to run and end up dying. Annoying much, lol. Especially in multiplayer, i ended up getting laughed at, argh.

Hmmm.. After awhile i feel that i need more excitement in this game. Hahaha.

Woah weapon cloning, I guess I'll just use it to save backup copies in my storage haha!

sgAsuryan : Playin Purna! Yeah, i lost quite a few good weps that way too..annoying as hell! I love the team health boost combined with the ranged rage ability. It's nice to be able to revert back to some pistol action sometimes:) .... not to say a clean decapitation doesn't bring the same amount of joy!

Yeah i had to restart the game too. Damn. They really have to fix the numerous problems in the game. And you know what? In the game, you can clone any of your melee weapons. See how serious the problems are? Even though i like cloning weapons..

Moxy: Oh I'm playing as Logan atm, although I find throwing weapons kinda risky, you lose good items upon missing, and they just magically disappear somewhere.

Razorsharp: Wow hurt much, lol

sgAsuryan & Moxy: Hahaha, totally agreed that a particular area in that town is crazy. I died countless times until the cost to recover is less than $100. Funnily crazy.
