I think arena is bugged when i die holding my pirmary and lose when i respawn i am a civ

ahh ok, so how does that help go to civilian heavy?

Whatever weapon you were last holding. If you have the shotgun out as a Heavy and you die, you respawn holding the shotgun.

I understand that part, but what does it do? Just auto-switch the weapon to the last one used when respawning? Like the last weapon I had equiped?

Options>Multiplayer>Advanced>Remember the active weapon between lives

I still don't get it, there's an option when you die it auto-switches my weapon back to the last one I just was using?

If you have the option enabled that auto-switches your weapon back to the last used one when you respawn...

If you have last weapon used on arena and die with your primary out when you respawn your a civ

the thing i was most looking for with the classless update was moving an advancing wall of ushanka-clad civilian heavies towards a control point in king of the hill like a division of crazy moscow police and crushing all that dare come forward

now i'm going to have to somehow break it to my son* that not, in my lifetime [or his lifetime, for that matter], are we ever going to witness this incredible spectacle for ourselves

Valve is actually going to make a gamemode where everyone has to be a Civilian and do what you'd normally do in-game.
