I'm doing pretty good so far this month! I've beaten a couple of games from my backlog, and am working on a few more right now. And I'm hoping to get in at least five hours on a few titles that I've yet to play.
Focusing solely on what I have right now is a lot of fun. And the promise of getting a few really great games after I've cleared out my backlog is a really nice motivator!

Hello, my Name is Ismael and I want to stop this way of wasting money. My backlog is huge, and I haven't even played a 5% of it. So I'll stop buying games from the end of Winter Sales 2012, until the begining of Winter Sales 2013. Also, I'll try spend less time browsing the internet, and play more. I need to save some money in order to be able to move in with my girlfriend, at the end of 2013, wish me luck.

PS: I will limit myself to HIB (I won't stop buying them, they're great), and getting free stuff (like when a shop glitches, or polish keys xD)

I'll join you guys to be moral support and an example what'll happen to you if you keep buying too much. lol I need to cut back, but I'll doubt I'll be able to do it 100%. I am, however, trying to go through more of my backlog. Like every time I go to play something I've already beaten before, I make myself choose something new.

Good call. If its cheap in the summer/easter/halloween sales, it'll be cheap(er) in the winter sale next year. I have £25 steam wallet. I hope to keep that by then (unless theres a huge price error)

Having spent too much money on this winter sale already, adding tons of new games to my library I think this would be one hell of a great thing to join.

Yeah, I seriously need to complete more games in my library before buying new:| But on the other had, guys, how can you resist not to buy bundle games from indigala anr etc? :D
