Was adventuring around the map yesterday on "Good Thing" (my spino), heard the call over TS that a Alpha Raptor spawned, soon there after I came across one as well, checked it with spyglass, ok it's low lvl, will eat this easy.
Moving on, came across another alpha raptor, this one was around lvl 40, Devoured it too. Now, I am starting to think that all these alphas spawned in at the same time, randomly scattered across the map.
Anyhow, moving on down the map, I seen another alpha raptor, Yay, check it out with spyglass

Probably to do with server performance. The ping doesn't seem to waver so I don't think its the hosts connections.
When the whole game actually pauses for a few seconds for everyone, I can at least tell you that is likely the world saving.

Upon further testing, it seems the dye does indeed run out, which is ok cause you can paint a lot with it.
Painting walls can be interesting, stone for eg can use one colour outside, another colour inside, and a third on the timber parts, metal walls have different part too, main, rivets, & tab pieces. All can be painted using the Altfire+hotkey combo. which resets every time you climb a ladder or switch out your held item

Looks like full walls, floors will be darker than anything with a door, hatch, frame. Can paint cabinets, but not the vault. One colour dye will paint everything you want until you change colours, then its gone. I think this is pretty damn good value, not sure what it costs to make the paint gun yet as I spawned one in a SP game to test
