Hi Kimikochan You asked why steam deleted Alice Madness Returns ..Well they did not actually delete it What the story was as far as i know was that the soundtrack in Alice Madness belonged to another developer to who actually developed the game itself they had a contract that had to be renewed after every so often so as each company got the split of money etc One year when it came around to be discussed neither company could come to an agreement to there liking so it was stopped from Sale .....why the developer did not completely Buy out the soundtrack i will never know..... it sounds dumb but now we the Gamers are screwed from playing it....
Unless maybe some shop has an original copy but certainly not Digital So steam did not delete it they wanted to sell it..... it was just not allowed due to copyright rules from the developers and soundtrack owners ......Hope this helps explain a bit to people as to what happened to the game

I didn't know it was ever available on Steam. I found my copy at Half Price Books in 2011 which uses Origin.

Make sure you play American McGee's Alice if you haven't. Though if you want to use VSync, you may have to play at 120+ Hz in order to get input latency down to an acceptable level.

Why they delete it from Steam?

This game would have been a masterpiece if it didn't have all of the ridiculous technical problems.

It's really depressing that a developer would waste so much potential by simply not caring enough to make sure a game functions properly.
