Since the dawn of minecraft, there appears to be about 300 clones/reimaginings of the game. Has anyone found any worth checking out? I think it might be time to try and regroup as a community in a new game!

Just reaching out to all the old bros. Been a while since I've seen a quality server since AoM and Cerberus, does anyone know of one? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Guys, it been nearly 1 1/2 years since the AOM shut down. We need to create a new server, on called "Age of Mining: Resurrection". Seriously, that was THE ABSOLUTE BEST server ever made! We had soooo many good times. We need to get the gang back together. Truth is, I miss you guys, all of you who were on the legitimate server. :(

Yeah problem with steam groups it there is no quick way of seeing new activities. So if someone posts, no one knows unless they specifically come check the group page.

Yeah, Cerberus is the place to be. Its also got a fair few guys from New Eden there too, plus a great admin and mod team :D

CerberusMc.net is the place to go guys. Its the good part of the AOM community that figured out what was up like a year ago and left. They made better decisions than we did!

It wasn't even just that, I volunteered to be an op because I lost interest in the game itself. That was my way of forcing myself to stick around. Now thta that's gone I have no interest in playing the game anymore. Its essentially a chatroom for me now.

For real now HEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLL NAH! These past few months or so have been annoying for everyone I think but once things become stabalized they will be better. Give it some time and it will fix itself.

i'd give it another chance iso. Everyones minecraft experience for the past 2 months has pretty much been defined by drama. Once its less tramatic it will feel less stale.

Honestly I think I am about done with Minecraft. It was probably the best $15 dollar game I have/ever wili buy... but it just feels to stale now. It has lost that allure that captivated me for so long, and the only reason I lasted as long as I did was because I was an op. I just basically got on and bullshitted with people for the last month. I didn't build or do anything but collect chicken eggs from my farm and randomly hatch hundreds of eggs in random people's houses as a joke.

I suggest we All join CerberusMC.net , it is run by old AoM vets: Dracchus, Kraxuss, and Jamesmifsud

You will also see myself, ShadowHunter, Slydersno, Krelos, Sablesong and many other AoM vets there.

Ive already suggested that all of NewEden move to Cerberus, and of we go to, that would be an extremely awesome community! Please guys, go apply now and help me and shadow build our new city!

Aright guys, I'm just gonna drop this here. Lowest common denominator has always been Chris and Giga, so what if we make a new server? What kind of costs would be associated with something like that? I'd be willing to drop some bones if anybody else is interested in an explorty commitee to maybee make something happen.

They are back up, but at this point even the most dedicated seem to be wavering. With D3 around the corner, I say we just start an Age of Diablo group and move on from Chris and giga.

Im making a server for my friends and I, does anyone know how to set who can use the plugins like for the /spawn plugin it will only let me use it if im an op.

Damnit! AoM why! I had so many plans! New Eden is great and all but the map is small and not my kind of style. I so sad :(

Forums seem to be down for good. So much for getting the server back on its feet. Meh, serves them right, they'll have to find another source of easy money.

So im about to be converting my iMac into a dedicated server. If it goes well, ill try to keep it up and running as much as possible.
