If say 10k people said that, than thats what they are willing to pay. Thats how economy works, law cannot dictate price. It didnt work for the Romans and wont for tf2
This is why votes don't matter: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/52f074794cd7b85d518b4568
Up for over a day, 103 upvotes, 33 downvotes. Would you still like prices to be based solely off of votes?
"Now, voting. If prices would be set solely by votes, there would be no need for admins. I remember voting was basically the most important thing on suggestions before, but it all changed with, I believe, the BMOC. People started trying to manipulate the BMOC's price and voting became pretty much useless. The BMOC was being traded for, let's say, 14 keys. Someone suggested 14 keys and people downvoted because "they didn't want the price to be 14 keys". Too bad, the price WAS actually 14 keys. Saif we accepted a 4 ref suggestion for keys because it has 5000 votes and everyone wants the keys to be 4 ref, then, as you're saying that backpack.tf has a huge impact on trading, wouldn't we be manipulating the price of keys?"
Why shouldn't the price be what the market WANTS to pay for it. This shows the admins complete and total control over prices that are accepted.
Also, you realize that kicking me from the group for making a polite constructive arguement also means I can't make a reply to your questions on the discussion? -.-
Backpack.tf mods are abusive and corrupt to an extent to an extent, although not for the key prices, whichi they are actually behind on. Backpack.tf is mostly corrupt in terms of unusuals, as influencial as they are.
