But what do I know, I've made nothing yet. Hell, I'm still trying to get the story to a suitable structure, right now it's all bits and pieces

Of course. A game dev's worst enemies are deadlines, pressure to put something out, and knowing a release isn't really the best

Just don't rush yourself and make sure you are happy with the result

It's gonna suck to draw all that art and code all of it together, but if it gets the story out there, it'll be worth it.

Yeah. Not surprisingly, I wanna test things out with a short furry game, but very surprising and, I imagine, as a very ambitious and difficult project for one girly man, it's basically Phoenix Wright set in the 300 BC Sonora with furries and demons and Avatar's mixed fauna where talking works like a visual novel, fighting and tasks work like a rhythm game, and the travelling and dialogue is as quirky but strangely serious as West of Loathing.

Jeez, that's a very rough situation then. sorry that happens to you and hope ya can get out of that and get to continuing that interest as an artists/game dev

I just have a hard time with a lot of things, and what's the worst is everything I'm afraid of haunts me when I try to sleep like I feel like it's naturally wrong to not be doing anything. It says a lot when lying down in a bed gets stressful

Yeah, it's like that sometimes but eventually a time will come where can continue on with what your interested it.

Yeah. Much like my mind, everything right now is a jumbled mess where there's so much I wanna do, but can't because of either more important things I need to focus on or conflicting schedules

Oh trust me I understand. I also have periods like that and some of my friends have even called me out in being in that mindset and forced me out. The Key to making sure you don't burn out it so have hobbies outside that field.

As for me, I go through periods where I just am not motivated to do anyhting productive at all, and as an artist and aspiring game developed, I really really hate it
