The account has a GAME ban. Game bans have nothing to do with VAC or this forum.

Click and read the info link next to the ban notice on your profile.

1. You have a GAME BAN, not a vac ban.
2. Yes, if someone used your account to cheat then a ban would be applied. (later on of course, since bans are delayed)

Also, you were NOT hacked.
The only way they could have gotten into your account is if YOU the owner of the account was careless with your password.
either by visiting external skin trading sites or by gaming in public places, or by falling for one of those lame obvious phishing scams.

So there's nothing unfair about the ban, the account cheated so the account got banned.
if you don't want that to happen then be more careful with your password.

Cheating isn't the only way to earn a game ban, and hours are meaningless when it comes to whether or not an account gets banned.
