Why so few games for Macs?

I checked out the winter sale and the only game that stood out to me is only for windows. then I looked at the whole list and very few can be played on macs. whats up?

And how many can you actually play on an M1 Mac? How many more will get killed off when Apple drops x86 in the coming year?
