Garry's Mod maps
Do you have to have Half Life 2 Episode 2 to create a Garry's Mod map? Whenever I look for suggestions, all I'm told is to create a map on for Half Life 2 Episode 2 and use that.

No. You just need HL2. People suggest HL2: Episode 2 probably because Episode 2 comes with additional models and textures you can map with.

Kay, thanks. And I'm assuming that the .fgd files that you choose in the configurations only work for each specific gametype, and don't affect the others?
