Most rootbeers aren't even rootbeer anymore since the original main ingredient was of mild concern to people in the medical field. Thats why it tastes weird now... since they can't put it in there. The substitute ingredients are ok and nothing to write home about.

I haven't had it in forever, but I used to love it. No idea if it's still the same.

I think it's underrated it's actually one of my favorite sodas. I like the creamy taste, it doesn't taste as acidic as dr pepper or coke. also I would recommend root beer floats, which is root beer and ice cream

You haven't really tried root beer until you've tried a root beer float. It's like eating steak seasoning without the steak.

As others said, different root beer brands can taste vastly different, unfortunately. Root beer floats are super easy to make. However, if you're wanting the best taste; due to being new to it all, it might be best to find an establishment that has root beer floats on the menu. But that's probably hard to find.

some rootbeers arnt very good, id recomend A&W to try it out first time, barks has bite rootbeer is good too, nd yea like other people said, u can put vanilla icecream in it,its called a float
