As per the title, can we PLEASE get the ability to view game collections as a LIST VIEW rather than the stupid tile-based only as per the current system? Why on earth do game collections not support list viewing, anyway? I mean, like, requiring a tile view by default? Really? Who on earth chooses a tile view for a "one and only default"? If you only offer one viewing option for any file management system it should ALWAYS be the list view, it is the classic king of viewing options.

The way I see it, so far as I'm concerned tile views are just a "nice to have sometimes"! Like for example when you've got mates over and you're browsing together. But they're REALLY not THAT important, whereas a full list view (which is normally the default, by the way) is absolutely mandatory and what I want to see around 90% of the time. I guess my point here is that if only one default collection viewing option is available then it should be a list view, not a tile view!

Does anyone else support the addition of a list view feature for our steam game collections? Ideally it woul support subgrouping with list headers, but absent anything fancy like that just a bog standard display of one's collections as simple title lists (not picture tiles) is an absolute must. I hope Valve will consider this change as soon as possible - realistically it is a wide open "strict upgrade" for their platform - all upside, no downside, and probably fairly easy to implement too!
