GIFT CARD
If I purchase a 50$ Steam Gift Card in USD, then send it to a friend using Euro currency in his Steam. Will he receive 50 Euros exactly or the money will be transferred to Euros from USD and there will be fees or so and the amount sent will be changed?
I want him to receive 50$. What should I do?

50 Euro ≈ 58.98 usd

So buy $60 usd to gift.

He gets the full 50$ with no fees in his currency, which at current market price, would be 42.38€

Dont. I've been told cards are region locked to crub scammers.

Unless you mean DIGITAL gift cards in which case it should be fine.

Yeah, I made the mistake myself of buying a physical card to send the code to a friend some time ago. Turn out, somewhere during the last couple of years they region locked the cards. Appearantly to prevent scammers from using them as a form of "payment" to get from their victims.

Once again... honest people are being held back by scums.
