If it wasn't for this game, back in 2010, I probably wouldn't have become the gamer I am today. It drew me in with its story, characters, and worldbuilding. That nostalgia fueled a lot of patience in my current replay. The game crashes frequently at loading screens (so be sure to save often!) and towards the end of the game, the camera would lock up and interactions with objects & other characters would suddenly not work. Which makes the game unplayable. The launcher itself wouldn't work half the time. I would love nothing more than to recommend this older gem out to new RPG players, but the technical problems are just too frustrating to deal with.

the Dragon Age servers have shut down, and therefore CAN NOT check if you have ownership of the game & its dlcs, so it will not open unless you have a community rip, Once you go through the arduous process of unencrypting and patching the game, you will then struggle with an unstable and laggy game that crashes more frequently than any game I've ever played. Do NOT buy it in its current state.
