We improved the interface and the AI of some creatures, made warp jumps more convenient, and fixed a number of bugs related to both the game itself and Steam Workshop integration.

• The flamethrower now has its stats displayed in the tooltip.

• The details panel will display the attached mods of any item.

• The task tracker on HUD now properly displays glowing ores.

• The held explosive is now displayed in a nicer way, you can tell what it is.

• Multiple AI fixes and improvements for the flying and swimming creatures.

• Warping is no longer stopped when facing a planet and no longer consuming a warp cell without the jump.

• Unsubscribing from a ship design will no longer revert the ship which had it applied to the default design.

• Fixed a bunch of sizing issues with the Hologram Screen when having a lot of text inside

• Fixed the network sync of hologram screen of no-ASCII texts.

• Fixed the destruction of some blocks which were supposed to be invulnerable (like the temple) by explosives.

• Removed the damage coming from corrupted blocks while players were loading in a dedicated server session.

• Fixed some zero priced repair prices.

• Fixed the wrong UI value report of some stats bonuses from mods like fire rate.

• Fixed an issue causing the speeders to be pulled to the ground at very high altitudes.

• Fixed an issue affecting the placement of tall windows in a rotation position.

• Fixed a bug causing the crafting of the grenade launcher to turn the stack of the first ingredient into grenade launchers.

• Fixed a multiplayer issue causing clients to report cleared pirate bases when landing on a new planet.

We’re excited to bring you one of the biggest updates yet for Cubic Odyssey!

The game now supports full Steam Workshop integration. You can share blueprints of your own structures and ships, and download other players’ creations.

In the blueprint info window, there’s a new “Share” button, and any blueprints you subscribe to are marked with a special icon in your collection. As for ships, the shipyard interface now features a “Workshop” button—use it to upload your own designs or grab models made by other players.

Other changes:

• A character appearance customization bench has been added. It can be crafted, and it will allow you to change any aspect of the character when interacting with it.

• A search functionality has been added to the galaxy map to allow searching star systems by name.

• completing the game will reward the player with a brand-new ship and speeder. They will get awarded to players who have already completed the main quest too upon loading the game.

• The signs now support Unicode characters both from keyboard and clipboard paste.

• The PC version has received a simple in-game chat. Pressing Enter activated the chat UI. A profanity filter toggle can be disabled in the gameplay options.

• Banks are now available on planets which are not overrun with pirates. Here you can deposit your currency, so the respawn cost is only applied on what you are currently holding on yourself.

• Inventory sorting will now also auto-stack possible items and compact everything nicely.

• A bunch of new hair and beard styles have been added for the character customization.

• An option to disable the rendering of your helmet has been added to gameplay options.
