Scars of Summer: After is the direct sequel to the previous game of the same name. It could be considered DLC or an expansion, but it has a large amount of content, so it is sold as a separate game.
This title continues the six NTR routes from the previous game after Ryoka stops loving the protagonist (you). It adds more sexual events and delves deeper into Ryoka's "romance" with the antagonist of each route. It also offers a more complete ending for each one.
In addition to extending Ryoka's NTR stories, the game features more erotic events with Saki. She is more corrupted and explores fetishes such as being molested on trains, orgies, and prostitution.

In terms of graphics and art, this game has considerable improvements over the first Scars of Summer installment. Not only does it maintain detailed quality in the character portraits, but it also does so in the sex scenes. Bodily deformities like those in the previous game are no longer noticeable, and the proportions are correct. Additionally, this title features simple looped animations of various sexual acts, including blowjobs, handjobs, and boob jobs in small scenes, as well as full-screen penetration scenes.
The sound remains the same as the previous game, with no full voice acting for Ryoka, only short phrases and sound effects such as moans, murmurs, and grunts during sex scenes.

In terms of gameplay, this title is simpler and more streamlined than the previous one. You only have to choose one of six available routes in a menu. Once you've chosen, a unique story for the antagonist begins. Instead of completing tasks with the protagonist to prevent Ryoka from being corrupted by winning her over, as in the previous game, this time she no longer loves the protagonist. You simply explore the town and city in search of erotic events involving Ryoka, using your cell phone to call her and find out where she is.
The only new playable feature is a small gachapon minigame where you can use "MP" to obtain 16 items to give to Saki and unlock events of her being pregnant . It's important to note that the gifts you give Saki carry over between routes, so you don't have to obsess over getting them all in one route.

The sexual content of this game has undoubtedly improved the most compared to the previous game. There are 41 sex scenes with Ryoka, 28 "normal" sex scenes with Saki, and another 16 sex scenes with her pregnant.
As I said earlier, the still scenes have slightly better visual quality, with better physical proportions and more suggestive art, such as breath vapor and sweat. However, the animations have slightly inferior art because they lack detail. However, this is offset by the fluid and exciting movement.
There is also more variety in sexual fetishes than in the previous installment. In addition to the netorare/cheating theme, there is vaginal sex, oral sex, public sex, creampie, sex behind a curtain, sex with costumes, orgies, molestation on a train, prostitution, blackmail, double penetration, pregnancy, sex toys, and some BDSM.
Finally, it's worth mentioning that the game has a scene gallery. However, it's not possible to unlock all its content at the beginning by pressing a button. You'll have to advance through all the routes and scenes yourself.

I was personally looking forward to the sequel to Scars of Summer because it was one of the first hentai games. I ended up liking the different routes and discovering the heroine in perverted situations. Plus, the design of these situations was extremely suggestive, and she is one of my top NTR heroines. This sequel gave me everything I wanted: more content, better visual quality, more fetishes, and, above all, animated sex scenes, which are now indispensable in hentai games.
The only thing I didn't like is that the NTR theme is broken because Ryoko no longer loves or dates the protagonist. Technically, she isn't cheating on him. In addition, the fact that there are no longer different routes in the same game makes it somewhat monotonous, since you have to take them individually one by one.
Nevertheless, it's a title well worth it for NTR lovers, as it features different antagonists, plenty of content, and high-quality still and animated sex scenes.
