2.0 Troubleshooting

Folders and Inventory not working: These nodes have changed to only accept a single resource type at a time, which will break when switching versions. You can solve this by placing them back again.

Can't enter portal: You have to queue portal upgrades before entering. In your research nodes menu, use the Advanced Research node to get Advanced Research points.

DLCs not working on Linux: Try switching to Proton 9 while we investigate the issue. You might have to reimport your save though.

"How do I wipe my save?" Settings > Save icon on the bottom > Wipe Data.

"Can I go back to 1.0?" Yes. Go to your game's properties > beta > and switch to ver-1.0 legacy. Your old save is located in user/appdata/roaming/upload labs. It's named "savegame_1.1.x". Rename it to "savegame.dat" and start the game.

when i Re-download a file that has gone thru Antivirus it looses the bonus

Redownloading now clears most of the file's modifiers.

Same! What's the purpose now Dev? How do we use this?

Edit: Ran it back through using more compressors, antivirus, etc and then put it in the folder.

Same! What's the purpose now Dev? How do we use this?

Move the Checksum Verifier and Redownloader to the front. Scan and remove viruses later.

cant consolidate checksum'ed files [Edit: moving the checksum and re-DL to the front seems to allow it, but if after the Virus check...it doesn't]

Yeah, uh, I would have agreed to reset on start if i knew everything was broken, now that option won't come back. Bummer, because this basically ruined the game

I can't get the advanced research node to work, so I can't get portal upgrades.

I only started playing like a day ago, so I didn't want to reset, didn't think there would be such a drastic change :(

Do you, example: download a sound, put it into a Data Lab place this into an Advanced Research?

i haven't reset the game and im currently messing with coding, i'm trying to do a 3x optimzation but it's not displaying the full modifier it's just showing ... . im assuming that you need to do something that was done to files to allow more mods to show
