Below is the full list of fixes included in this update:

The issue where vehicles approached the drive-thru wall too closely and clipped into it has been resolved.
This behavior was caused by incorrect vehicle path offsets, and the root cause has been fixed.

Paper bags staying in the world after drive-thru vehicles despawn has been resolved.
The cleanup logic wasn’t triggering properly, and the underlying error has been corrected.

Vehicles reaching the despawn point but not disappearing has been resolved.
The despawn event was not firing due to a state check issue, and the faulty logic has been fixed.

Hovering over kicked vehicles showing unusable interaction prompts has been resolved.
The cause was outdated interaction flags, and the problematic UI condition has been corrected.

The issue where front wheels stopped rotating mid-drive has been resolved.
A mismatch between animation speed and vehicle movement was responsible, and the sync issue has been fixed.

Drive-thru vehicles not turning on headlights at night has been resolved.
The nighttime lighting trigger was left out of the drive-thru vehicle logic, and the missing condition has been added.

The issue where passengers appeared seated incorrectly after loading a save has been resolved.
A client-side seat assignment desync was the cause, and the underlying replication issue has been fixed.

The problem where fryer baskets blocked the slot after saving and loading has been resolved.
The fryer’s internal state wasn’t resetting correctly, and the bug causing this behavior has been addressed.

Boxed products stacking inside each other at the last cargo slot has been resolved.
An indexing error caused multiple items to spawn in the same space, and the slot assignment bug has been corrected.

Items flying toward the trash from their world position instead of the player's hand has been resolved.
The discard animation was referencing an outdated transform, and the incorrect reference has been fixed.

• Receipt stuck after sandwich not taken for a while
  Fixed an issue where the receipt could become stuck inside the machine if a sandwich stayed on the delivery tray for about two minutes without being collected. The receipt now correctly returns once the sandwich is picked up.

• Sandwich Machine allows sandwich production without ingredients
  Fixed a bug that allowed players to produce sandwiches even when no breads or ingredients were available. The machine now properly requires resources for every sandwich.

• Single bread placement bugs slot count
  Fixed a client-side issue where repeatedly picking up and placing a single bread caused the slot to visually show multiple breads that couldn’t be interacted with. Slot visuals now sync correctly with the machine’s inventory.

• Sandwich Machine UI desync
  Resolved an issue where players joining or reconnecting to a session saw the Sandwich Machine UI incorrectly displaying 0 materials. The UI now shows the correct contents immediately.

• Sandwich Machine cannot be placed when ghost overlaps itself
  Fixed a placement issue preventing the Sandwich Machine from being placed if its ghost overlapped with itself. Placement now works correctly in all valid positions.

• Sandwich Machine papers misaligned after move
  Fixed an issue where the papers on the sandwich machine’s lid stayed in the wrong position after moving the machine or after save/load. They now realign properly when the lid is closed.

• Cargo Point box Z-fighting
  Resolved visual flickering (Z-fighting) on cargo boxes when a large number of products were ordered and stacked at the cargo point.

• Sandwich machine operation time reduced from 30s to 20s.
  Based on player feedback, we’ve shortened the sandwich production time to make the gameplay feel snappier and more dynamic. 🕒💨

• Client character persisting after exiting Character CreationFixed an issue where leaving the character creation screen before finalizing would leave an incomplete client character in the world. The leftover instance now despawns immediately.

• Server save during Client Character Customization

  Fixed an issue where the server saving while a client was in the Character Customization screen could write an incomplete character to the save, causing an invalid state on load. Saves taken during customization now defer/skip the in-progress character, and loading safely finalizes or discards partial data.

• Kicked cars and NPCs stuck head-on in the drive-thru
  Improvements made to prevent head-on deadlocks between kicked customer cars and NPC vehicles.

Let’s dive into the Decoration Update!

Bring your kitchen to life with the colors you love!

Not only can you now change the stone colors of your walls, but we’ve also added 3 different countertop styles for you to choose from. Simply use the Color Picker to select your preferred shade and watch your kitchen transform instantly.

Your restaurant hall just got a major glow-up!
You can freely adjust the colors of the walls, along with both the upper and lower stone layers, giving your space a completely fresh atmosphere.

On top of that, we’ve added 3 brand-new floor tile options (4 in total), allowing you to pick the perfect pattern that matches your interior design.

Make your restaurant truly yours with a wide variety of customizable decor pieces:

• 10 ceiling lamps

• 18 wall frames

• 14 shelves

• 6 wall signs

Choose the styles that fit your taste and create the perfect atmosphere!

We’ve also tackled a number of issues to make your experience smoother:

• Player Stuck in Toilet While CrouchingFixed an issue where crouching inside a toilet could trap the player, making it impossible to exit.

• Invisible Sandwich After Save/Load with Tray & Receipt
  Resolved a bug where serving a tray with a receipt after save/load left behind an invisible sandwich.

• Clients Facing the Same Direction in Multiplayer
  Fixed client orientation not replicating correctly for other players. No more oddly synchronized staring contests!

• Small Freezer Preview Image Mismatch
  Corrected the preview image in the market so it now matches the actual in-game appearance.

• Bread Sorting into Oven Tray (Client-Side)
  Addressed an issue where trays sometimes failed to properly hold 5 breads, causing odd shifting or fewer breads being placed.

• Order Price Drops to Zero
  Fixed an issue where removing a sandwich from the order list while taking the order caused the total price to drop to zero.

• Broken Sandwich Order After Removing Side Item
  Resolved a bug where removing a selected side item would break the sandwich order in the list.

• Cash Register Price Increase Exploit
  Addressed an exploit where switching repeatedly between certain products (such as different bread types or chicken/smoked beef) would incorrectly increase the total price.

• Canceled Items Still Appearing on Receipt
  Fixed an issue where canceled bread and ingredients still showed up on the printed receipt.

  • Example: If White Bread, Chicken, and Lettuce were ordered, and White Bread was removed, those removed items could still appear when the order was changed to something else (e.g., Thyme Bread, Smoked Beef, and Mushroom). This has now been resolved.

• Drive-Thru Old Orders Persisting After Save/Load
  Corrected a problem where the large order panel in the drive-thru continued to display old or kicked orders after a save/load.

In this update, we have fulfilled the request of our esteemed player Rudolf Fischer, which he shared with us in the Steam Discussions section. We thank him for sharing it with us.
With the newly added ‘Inverted Mouse’ option, you can reverse mouse movements and control the camera the way you’re used to.

You can enable this setting from Settings > Controls.

• Furniture positions now load correctly after saving and reloading the game.

• Customer moods are now preserved correctly; happy customers will no longer become sad after saving and reloading.

• Customers in a mad state during saving now properly return to their seated positions after reloading.

• Selling tables while customers are seated is no longer possible, preventing animation and state errors.

• Order panel scrolling has been improved to prevent it from breaking when scrolled after unfocusing the panel.

• Table numbering has been corrected to prevent duplicate numbers when placement is interrupted by another player’s actions.

• Closing placement mode while holding a table no longer causes its table number to be lost.

• Wall-mountable items now align properly with walls, fixing an issue where they snapped at incorrect angles.

• Bread oven ghost mesh now displays correctly when first picked up after purchase.

• Unwrapping sandwiches that contain sauce no longer replays the sauce pouring sound effect.

With these changes we aim to reduce the difficulty.

We’ve heard from many of our solo players — especially at higher levels — that keeping up with sandwich orders can get overwhelming. After a few balancing tweaks, we’re taking things a step further to make life easier:

Introducing the Sandwich Maker Machine!This machine will automatically prepare an order when you scan a ticket, as long as all the necessary ingredients are available. We’ve already started working on it, and it’s planned for release in September.

We’re continuing to expand Sandwich Simulator to players around the world! In September, we’ll be adding 7 new languages based on community requests and our long-term goals:

Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, and Dutch.

• Customers in Line Before Save/Load:
  Fixed an issue where customers waiting in line during save/load couldn’t sit at tables.

• Spoiled Sandwiches:
  Spoiled sandwiches can no longer be served and eaten by customers.

• Customer Teleportation After Save/Load:
  Resolved an issue where some seated customers teleported to the world origin after loading a save.

• Skip Tutorial Tooltip:
  Corrected the duplicated and incorrect “Hold T to Skip Tutorial” message. It now properly displays “Hold Y.”

• Unresponsive Diners After Save/Load:
  Fixed an issue where customers eating during save/load became stuck and unresponsive.

• Fridge Item Position Desync:
  Items inside fridges now appear in the correct positions for clients after joining post-save/load.

• Default 4 Tables Issue:
  New restaurants no longer spawn with four tables all numbered “4.”

• Coffee Machine Interaction:
  Coffee beans can now be successfully added to the coffee machine.

• Ingredient Widget Display:
  Resolved an issue where some ingredient icons displayed as blank white squares.

• Mouse Scroll Interaction:
  Fixed an issue where mouse scroll stopped working after interacting with certain objects.

• Ordering Customers:
  Customers in the middle of ordering can now be kicked as intended.

• Settings Dropdown Boxes:
  Dropdown menus in the General Settings menu no longer appear empty by default.

• Queue Disappearing Customer:
  Fixed a bug where the first customer in line disappeared when a second customer joined the queue.

• Customer Falls Through Floor on Client:
  Resolved an issue where the first ordering customer on clients fell through the floor after ordering.

• Waiter Spawn Locations After End Day:
  Waiters now respawn at the correct positions after ending the day.

• Customer Pathfinding Issues:
  Fixed an issue where customers got stuck on their way to tables and eventually disappeared.

• Tray-Laptop Interaction:
  Resolved an issue where a laptop in use could be carried away on a tray by another player.

• Laptop Placement:
  Laptops can no longer be placed on trays.

• Ice Cream Machine After Save/Load:
  The ice cream machine now functions correctly after a save/load, even if a cup was inserted.

• Logo Change:
  Changing the restaurant logo via the laptop now properly updates it in-game.

• Latte Orders Unlocking:
  Latte requests now correctly align with the intended unlock level.

• Floating Bread After Save/Load:
  Bread no longer floats after picking up oven trays post-save/load.

• Floating Fridge Items:
  Items inside fridges now move properly when the fridge is relocated after save/load.

• Women’s Restroom Visual Issue:
  Fixed flickering (Z-fighting) textures in the women’s restroom.

• Item Placement Desync:
  Items moved by the host now display correctly for players who join later.

Gameplay & Progression

• Difficulty Reset Issue FixedFixed an issue where the game difficulty would reset to "Normal" after completing a day.
  Difficulty levels are now saved after Save/Load. So if you started a game on “Hard” difficulty, it will appear as ‘Hard’ again when you re-enter. Previously, it would revert to “Normal.”

UI & Visuals

• Floating Bowl Bug Resolved
  Bowls no longer remain floating after the preparation station is relocated.

• Missing Logos After Load
  Fixed a bug where some logos would disappear after loading a save.

Multiplayer & Sync

• Jukebox Synchronization Fixed
  Resolved desynchronization issues between players when using the jukebox:

  • Stopping the jukebox on one client no longer causes the opposite state on the other.

  • Both players now see consistent play/stop states.

  • Fixed the bug where only the player who stopped the jukebox first would see correct behavior.

Item Handling & Interactions

• Stacking Behavior Improved
  Visual and mechanical inconsistencies when stacking items have been fixed.

• Tray Interaction Fix
  Interaction with fully loaded trays using a scoop is now smoother and more reliable.

• Coffee Machine Cup Placement
  Clients can now correctly place cups into the coffee machine.

AI & Pathfinding

• Courier Blocking NPCs Fixed
  Couriers waiting for online orders no longer block waiter or customer NPCs.
