Hey everyone,

We hope you're enjoying your time with F1® 25 so far.

With hundreds of thousands of hardware and software configurations, it's not always possible for to us to identify the exact issue you may be having with the game, especially when it relates to overall game performance.

Whilst that may be the case, we've put together a couple of useful posts that may allow you troubleshoot and diagnose the problem you are facing.

For those of you looking to play F1® 25 in Virtual Reality or on Triple Screens, we have put a dedicated help guide together with some specific setup tips and troubleshooting. You can find a link to that guide at the bottom of this post.

• For information on EA's Anti-Cheat, identifying which applications may be blocking F1® 25 from opening, click here.
  
  
• Next, be sure to update your graphics drivers as our data shows outdated drivers are the most common cause for F1® 25 to crash. You can read more about that in the link at the bottom of this page.
  
  
• If you experience other issues loading the game (such as a black screen), please close the game and delete your hardware settings files. This won't affect save games but will instead trigger the game to boot in default settings.
  • These files can be found in C:\Users\USERID\Documents\My Games\F1 25\hardwaresettings. Delete both .xml files, and then restart your PC before loading up F1® 25.
  
  
• If you are able to boot the game and are experiencing crashes during gameplay, despite Driver updates, we recommend that you check your PC meets the minimum specifications required for F1® 25. If this is not the case, we cannot be sure that F1® 25 will run properly. Please note, the minimum specification requirements have increased compared to F1® 24.
  
  
• Users on AMD Radeon RX 9000 Series graphics cards may experience crashes when Path Tracing is enabled. We are being supported by our partners at AMD to improve stability on these graphics cards, particularly on night tracks. If you are using one of these cards, disabling Path Tracing may improve stability.
  
  
• Additionally, having 'Windhawk' running on your PC when loading F1® 25 will cause the game to crash every time. If you have this piece of software on your PC, please uninstall or disable this before loading up the game.
