After many hours following the story I can honestly say this game is worth trying out. The only draw back is stories come out in pieces, so you might have to wait a day or week for the next part. Combat looks awesome and their are several skills to master, as well as your chosen sect.

They give you plenty other things to do in the mean time. Housing, farming, puzzles, side quests, relationships with key characters, fishing and other professions. You don't have to pay any real money to enjoy this. Just play the game and you'll earn coins for in-game loot. If you want all the nice looking gear, well then you will have pay up.

All the areas look amazing to explore and you can just get lost walking around the cities and towns listening to the calm music.

mobile ui and no controller support

UI is a big complaint but if you don't care about it then the game is actually amazing. Good storyline and quests, the puzzles are fun and often require you to do some thinking. Raids/dungeons are actually challenging so you have to work with the other players on your team.

Most of the microtransactions are for cosmetics, so they won't impact your gameplay. My favourite part of the game is definitely the story but they do require some cultural knowledge; if you're a foreigner then you might miss a bit of context due to the simple translation. I don't think it will dampen your experience that badly though.

Overall, really good if you're into casual exploration stuff. The reviews here are a bit harsh in my opinion.

A bad port of the mobile game.

I've been playing through the direct game download, and it's been pretty fun so far. It took a lot of work to almost catch up to other players that played since day one, but it's okay. Personally, I tried WWM first and then this and I find this more fun. Mobile UI is useable. I understand why they have it, because it IS a mobile game. This is the only mobile MMORPG I play. I'll play until it gets boring or annoying!

Different types of gameplay options.
- Manor building using resources earned by playing the manor
- Main story quest, side story quests, adventures, quests with NPCs to form ties/bonds, etc
- Exploration for all of the maps, gathering willpowers, possible cosmetics, actions, other rare rewards
- Dungeons/raids
- PvP (not sure if this is a pro in the end due to how the player behave.......)

More pros:
Bots can fill in teams if there aren't enough players, and for the most of it, the bots aren't bad. They also fill-in for the solo/duo dungeon/raids and for pvp teams. It's pretty nice.
Touching quests, beautiful building components,
Beautiful music, some quite relaxing
Various identities/professions. Dressing, blacksmithing, alchemy, cooking, mining, gathering herbs, singing, dancing, playing instruments (you can actually click or press notes, I love it). You can even be a detective solving cases. :P
GvG uses traditional moba style map with top/mid/bot lanes and towers, and a base/flag for each team.
There's a guide in the game that is very helpful
There's a path to glory that shows build examples for you to follow if you need some help with your build
Probably more pros.

Cons:
- There are still possibly some indirect P2W methods to get ahead. Unknown yet if this truly matters. I think it mostly has to do with coins and divine weapons?
- Pvp - Kind of dominated by one or two groups once you reach higher ranks, and queues can be lengthy (anywhere from 5 minutes to 30+) for a 5 min 12v12.
- IMO can be hard to have enough willpowers on hand to use for fodder to level up your main ones. Not everyone has this problem, apparently. Might depend on how much you play and what you do.
- Gacha component is EXPENSIVE. Like $30 USD for 10 pulls.
- Lot of cosmetic outfits are $30+ (BUT, PRO: they give you a few coupons for 50% off plus another one that gives you some jade towards an outfit -- and they have some cheap pretty outfits too for under $15, some under $5).
There are probably some more cons too.

There's so much to this game. I love it for the cultural exposure.

Saw this game a long time ago after Age of Wushu just stopped being the game I used to love playing. Was excited for the global release after having seen old gameplay of it. Thought it'd never come but now it's here and all i have to say is... What happened? Bro this game is like that one friend who goes away for the summer and they come back a completely different person. It's ok, Where Winds Meet exists.

It feels fresh, I was tired of games that you walk and fight, walk and fight. This one has a variety of gameplay. What can I say? I like to drink tea as a mission or do martial presentations to pay someone else rent. And the story is nice, I feel engaged with it and I the world seems to have so much to do!

Negative points: UI is a mobile UI, so quite bad, and so many systems that I don't understand, and just ignore it

I fun game. Reminds me a bit of Age of Wushu. I love the graphics and story line. Lots and lots to do in game. It has a cash shop but it is NOT P2W as all items are cosmetics. Try it out and add me as well if you play on Euro servers.
