you probably will have time for both tbh. sword of justice has loot cap and stamina cap system, so you can't really grind (dungeon run takes like 10 minutes, and most of them are once per week). probably similar in where winds meet where stamina take 3 days to regen to full

both games are basically same, WWM is just having better combat ( for me ) but has bigger system requirments like much bigger. Both games are not really p2w and both games have similar systems. You could just say SoJ is smaller version of WWM and SoJ is much older because it was existed on China already for 2+ years. If my PC would be much better I would prefer WWM ONLY because of combat, because WWM has nioh/sekiro combat with parry and weapon swap, while SoJ has too mobile automatic combat where you just spam buttons. Avoiding combat both games are same but WWM is more like dark fantasy.
Oh and forgot to say main thing, BOTH are mobile games, different is that PC SoJ having mobile UI while PC WWM have own UI on release. SoJ PC UI will be changed, there already many posts on reddit with new UI. WWM mobile version will be released a bit later and because of that people ignore fact that this is still a mobile game.

WWM feels way better. SoJ is clunky at best

There are two differences between SoJ and WWM:
- SoJ has tab-targeted fight, while WWM has non-targeted fight.
- In SoJ everything is beautiful and colorful, while in WWM everything is gray and dark.
- WWM requires a significantly more powerful computer.

I intend to play both. Because there's no valid reason not to.
Sword of Justice is a proper MMO, Where Winds Meet follows the Genshin format. I personally never understood the point of a mostly single player game being online, and in this situation, there's a dozen options when it comes to high quality soulsbornes that aren't tied to a service or internet connection. Plenty of people would disagree and prefer Genshin, however; it and the games designed similarly are clearly quite popular.

Both games already have healthy populations; they're two of the most popular games played in China (both are in the top 10 I believe), and published by the same company in all regions, so there's no longevity concerns like Sword of Legends was plagued with (i.e. left out to die by a third party looking for a quick cash grab.)

The tl;dr is ultimately: do you want a social online experience or do you want a single player live service. For me, if the single player component of Where Winds Meet could be played entirely offline, I'd likely play it off and on, but as it stands now? Waste of my time when I could, for instance, keep working on my Elden Ring save. Sword of Justice fills the empty space that was left with the closing of Swords of Legends, never mind FFXIV's endless treadmill and long term quality decline: a relaxing xianxia setting where I can hang out with a friend or two. Your wants and needs may of course vary.
WWM is rpg with instanced multiplayer mode (better graphics and flow, less gameplay systems, story/dialogues are made entirely with AI from what I have experienced)

Sword of justice is MMO sandbox (more janky, way more gameplay systems, heavily story driven / it feels it's made by real people)

If you want a game like elden ring (you just want to fight) go for WWM, if you want more sandboxy and social or even story driven game, don't sleep on SoF

WWM story isnt made by ai. They only seem to use AI for some voices and part of the translation and some "npc Chats".

20 hours in wwm, and i feel it just Genshin with wuxia theme, multiplayer content is just limited not the true MMO experience. All the reward from exploration is come from Solo mode yes solo mode, and co-op mode by INVITING people to your world or join another world which need invitation too. Meanwhile, online mode is completely blocked exploration content except the "dungeon" content. So overall you cant running into people while doing exploration benefits. thats all
SoJ is an mmorpg, WWM is a single player RPG with co-op and guild content.

Casual and mostly solo player here. Atm playing both and for now tbh prefer SoJ more. Imo SoJ story much more engaging. Not only main story bt also side stories and even side side stories like case solving for constable identity and all that. WWM for me more visually appealing, bt tbh SoJ world also very beautiful. Unfortunately UI in SoJ not really intuitive bt you got used to it.

It's like comparing Final Fantasy 14 and SEKIRO.
Play whichever one you like.

I dropped both lol.

SoJ's story is ten times better even without English VA option, you get choises and sometimes it matter more then in real rpg, MC is super likeable, plot have cool setup and motivation.

But yeah, mobile UI, tons of visual/audio bags etc kinda killed it for me. But I will return one day, I know they already fixed most problems on chinese version.

WWM, on the other hand... Feels like proper PC game, but IDK, story is just mid, MC is dull, no choises. But most importnantly I dont really like combat, all this parrying soulslike gameplay not my cup at all!
