Warframe trade chat is full of scams (New Players be warned!)

Go to external websites like Warframe market and you will see normal real prices that aren't based on things like "effort" because lets me real, just cause it was hard for you doesn't mean that items supply is low or demand is high. You will find the real expensive items there and the real cheap ones.

I'll reiterate- no one who knows what they're doing BUYS from trade chat. Good luck! :)

I love going into trade chat and under cutting everyone with Warframe market prices. Every so often some trade chat scammer will message me and tell me to piss off. Good times.

I think trade chat is great for trying to BUY stuff for a cheaper price, since people are trying to get plat ASAP vs waiting on market.
-prime sets for example, we all know the sets cost a little bit more plat anyways lmao

some random guy from warframe market wanted to buy some gems for 3p each, i think i sold like 10 of them or something and after the exchange was complete he said "scammer got scammed lol" in PMs, i still dont know why i got called scammer to this day

some people will message you, buy at your markup and then call you a scammer.

I love people who try to negotiate prices based on what they got from WF market. I congratulate them on finding such a deal and suggest they go buy it from there instead.

Trade chat can work well. I purchased several unrolled rivens for fair value the other day. You just have to be patient.

Ironically, if they were patient, they would just trade exclusively through the market website. But those people either are never on, or aren't responding, so they want you to match the price of their unavailable inventory instead.

Yea thats myonly gripe with warframe.market. Tok easy to mark as online but not be online. I get it tho, not a easy solution
