Don't bother with this game. While it's free, the "game" requires around 3 to 4 DLCs to actually enjoy, as the base game is free because it's worthless without them. This is basically the diet demo version of Crusader Kings III, seeing as they actually baked in most of the DLC content into the game.
Welcome to the Paradox modus operandi, make a game framework, then build the game out from there. The kicker, they make you pay full price for the framework, then make you pay piecemeal for each "feature" that should have been included in the base game. I could go on, but this is now the standard Paradox (Trademark, all rights reserved....and all the reputation deserved).
Just pirate everything for this game; hell, pirate all the new games for all I care. They want a subscription based income, so F em.

Very steep learning curve. Best this game has is character relationships and how you can use it to achieve power and random events. Everything else is meh
