With Mafia: The Old Country launching soon, we're as excited as anyone that the game is finally in players' hands, and that fans can at last discuss every detail of this gritty, narrative-driven crime drama together.

However, as the title only just launched, we ask that in the coming days, weeks, and months, community members respect those who have yet to complete the story and refrain from openly sharing spoilers.

Below, we'll list some tips and best practices for how to avoid spoiling the Mafia series for others:

• Avoid putting spoilers in post titles. At most, hint at the content of your post without explicitly including spoilery details.
  
  
• Any posts containing or discussing pivotal plot moments must include a spoiler tag.
  
  
• Comments referring to story details beyond the spoiler-tagged thread topic must be tagged as spoilers. For example, do not spoil Mafia III when providing context in a thread about Mafia II without tagging it.

To add a spoiler tag on Steam, use the following format:
[.spoiler] Spoiler text here. [./spoiler] (Remove the "." and you're good to go!)


We will also add two sub forums, Bug Reporting and Game Feedback, to give players spaces to discuss details after purchasing the game. These sub forums will be revealed after launch, but whenever you post, please still follow the spoiler rules!
