Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
The Lion's Den (spoilers maybe)
I was really bored with this quest. I just did not care what the outcome was as it did not seem to effect my objective at all. I was not a suspect and everyone else there are men working for my enemies. Why do I care who they hang?

It feels like I must have missed something. Anyone got opinions on that investigation quest?

Well, one guy is completely innocent who is only "working for your enemies" because Sigismund basically forced him to by all but kidnapping him, not by choice.

If you've been paying attention at all you'd know one is literally in an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" situation with you.

One is an incompetent, haughty toad who definitely IS working for your enemies.

And two are just a couple of drunk soldiers that unluckily got caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Maybe you don't care, but who gets the blame has some fairly long term impacts to the story.

Losing their doctor would be a big loss for them (I assume that is the innocent guy your talking about) everyone else is one less guy I have to kill later.

(Spoilers) So I looked this up and it says crow gets it no matter what I do. Is that true? If it is I am so glad I didn't spend any time trying to effect the outcome at all.
No, that is not true. Your actions can have direct consequences. And the camp can "lose its doctor" in other, impactful ways.

Also, condemning a man because he cares for the sick and injured is a little dark, although yes I get the tactical benefit there. I will simply mention that intentionally targeting non-combatant medical personnel IS technically a war crime.

My Henry has a long list of war crimes. I did however blame crow since it seemed like the quickest easiest solution so I could get out of that camp and get back to fighting.

Well, you lost the chance at an ally then.

Oh really? What does he do for you if you save him some how?

Joins the Devils and helps in the fights if you persuade him.

Is he any good? My other allies kept going down and leaving me to fight 10 vs 1 a whole lot towards the end of the game. I did fine but it was disappointing that my friends were all but useless.
