tbt this game early isnt very idley, u grind more by being active. but even then at some point u cant go further without restarting , by doing that u also get a good boost in earnings, so the next game u catch up to the point u have ascended faster than the previous game, and so on and on. that just how ascension mechanics works, its ok to not like it ofc.

it's a marathon incremental game, check the fan wiki for tips, i only play actively to do dailies (i'm only on my first UA) and check in every few hours on mobile letting it idle offline most of the time. It's a silly game but a fun journey to me to just punch a few buttons every now and then, i'm loving the crossplay feature.

I got my soul gems like this: 48, 11, 50, 0 and I progress a lot while playing actively.
Here’s what I do: I open the game, join the village, go to the tavern, and if I get the Armor + Bonus, I activate the daily x20 GPM. Otherwise, I just close the game and wait for the drink cooldown to be ready for another try.

Actually the more souls you get, the less you will get in future runs (Without ultraasending), you will find yourself farming 100k T souls in no time and after a few restarts you will find imposible to reach to 100k T again

but why would you not ua in the first place? it is a core mechanic of the game. i can understand how discouraging it could be, especially the first times, having to redo all the quests ecc., u are even required to ua for certain upgrades to take effect. its just not possible to progress without it.

sounds like you're doing something wrong. The first time I ultra ascended, it took me a few days, less tha a week, to get back to the progress I had before going ultra, on the next ultra ascension I reached my previous level the same day after a few regular ascensions

If you're even casually an active player you can easily achieve 100% game completion in 1 year.

There is a wiki and a discord for help with how to effectively play. If you're only playing minimally (signing in and out) then yeah, you're limiting your progress for now as idle gains are limited in the beginning. Try to play actively for maybe an hour a day for a week and see where things stand for you.

And then when you've reincarnated a dozen times you're on the up and up and it catches back to your max in no time, you have to do the annoying grindy missions, and then you hit the ceiling and your CPS stops increasing and you're left with nothing to do and you just "grind" offline and online in the weekends and leave PC on as you sleep pumping that Shuriken a single level in a month.
And then you'll come here and cry about how boring the game is, nothing to do, and you quit.
I mean, this is that mentality.
