can't give to echo

i haven't really care before, but after 200+ nights i still cannot give nectar to echo. i wanna complete my keepsakes and just need concave stone. At first i thought i need to talk a lot more to narc, but turns out it doesn't have any correlation to that

I think you need to take her blessing first, and only then the button for gifting appears

Echo repeats Mel's phrase that she speaks when entering the room when you talk to her normally. Because of this, you can't gift her until after talking to her, since they'd otherwise have to have her repeat the last line of the gift conversation when you talk to her, which would both be awkward and a lot of extra work to record and program.
